In January 2024, Chef Yuuki Tanaka of Ise Sueyoshi participated in the 4th “Japanese Sake Festival” held in São Paulo, Brazil, representing Japanese culinary excellence. The event, attended by sake experts and enthusiasts, concluded with a special dinner hosted at the prestigious restaurant “Tuju.” Chef Tanaka contributed to a 12-course menu, delivering dishes that paired perfectly with premium Japanese sake, leaving a lasting impression on the guests.
This opportunity allowed us to engage with world-renowned chefs and gain new inspiration. It reinforced our mission to share the diversity and beauty of Japanese cuisine with a global audience while motivating us to continue evolving.

4th “Japanese Sake Festival” held in São Paulo, Brazil

Inspiring Dialogues at the Hotel Restaurant Show

In February 2024, Chef Yuuki Tanaka was invited to speak at the “International Hotel and Restaurant Show” held at Tokyo Big Sight. In a panel discussion titled “Gastronomy from the Perspective of Chefs and Producers,” Chef Tanaka joined Chef Daiyu Tei and producer Fumiko Ishikawa to discuss the importance of collaboration between chefs and local producers, as well as sustainable cooking practices.
Chef Tanaka shared how ingredients from Mie Prefecture are incorporated into Ise Sueyoshi’s dishes, emphasizing the value of strong partnerships with producers. The dialogue with younger chefs provided an inspiring exchange of ideas, highlighting a shared vision for the future of Japanese gastronomy.

In April 2024, two new team members, Nori and Takuto, joined Ise Sueyoshi. Each brought unique perspectives and passions that have invigorated our team.
Takuto, from Mie Prefecture, contributes with his boundless enthusiasm and drive, positively influencing the team. In November 2024, we participated as a supporting chef at the “Pignon x ROTABLE 2024 in Owase” event in Mie Prefecture. This special dining experience aimed to showcase the rich natural environment and culinary culture of Owase.
We prepared dishes using locally sourced ingredients, sharing the beauty of the region with guests. Blessed with clear skies after a typhoon, the event was a success, further strengthening our ties with local producers and the community.
